Visit two of Nicaragua’s most important destinations due to their natural beauty and cultural richness: Masaya, known as the city of flowers and cradle of Nicaraguan folklore; and the beautiful colonial city of Granada, which welcomes visitors with its colorful architecture, deep historical roots, mouth-watering cuisine, and friendly people.

Masaya & Granada One-Day Tour
First, we will visit Masaya Volcano National Park, where we can reach the top of a volcano by vehicle and go near the edge of an active crater. At the Visitor’s Center, you can learn more about the history and characteristics of the volcano. We will continue to the Handicraft Market where you can find great souvenirs and beautiful crafts made of wood and ceramics, embroidery, hammocks, clothes and jewelry. You may also try Nicaraguan food and traditional sweets.
But the journey doesn’t end there. We will take you to the amazing colonial city of Granada, founded in 1524 by conquistador Hernández de Cordoba, is one of the oldest cities in America.
On this tour, we will visit La Merced Church. From the top of the bell tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then, we will continue our tour to Convento San Francisco Museum, which houses an important collection of historical artifacts and paintings. One of its most interesting collections are 28 pre-Columbian Zapatera Island statues dating from the years 800 to 1200 AD. During the city tour, you will also get to see Calle Atravesada, Xalteva Church, the Cathedral and the Church of Guadalupe.
