DAY 01 Arrive to Costa Rica
Meet and transfer to hotel in San José. Lodging in San Jose
DAY 02 San José – Arenal
Breakfast at the hotel. On the morning regular transfer to Arenal, one of the most visit touristic area of Costa Rica, Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs attractive. Lodging in Arenal.
DAY 03 Peñas Blancas Safari / Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
Breakfast at the hotel. Experience the peacefulness of the forest traveling on the Peñas Blancas River with the opportunity to observe many different animals such as monkeys, sloth, iguanas, tortoises, crocodiles and numerous bird species. Our boat doesn’t use a motor so that you can enjoy the sounds of nature as we paddle down the river offering you the best opportunity to take photos. You will be accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide who will explain many fascinating details about the trees, plants, birds and animals. This tour, which includes a stop for beverages and tropical fruits, takes only a half day and is especially designed for people with a limited amount of time.
Included: Bilingual naturalist guide, transportation in an A/C bus, lifejacket, beverages and fruits. What to bring: Light, comfortable clothing, sandals or tennis shoes, binoculars, camera, sunscreen lotion and insect repellent.
The Arenal Volcano tour starts with a drive to the active Western side of the volcano. Once there you will embark on a hike on the Toucans Trail which traverses the rainforest and crosses over a large lava flow from 1992. It is possible to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife and magnificent lava rock formations. Once on top of the lava flow you will have a beautiful view of Lake Arenal. The hike ends at a viewing area where, weather permitting, you will be able to see red hot lava rolling down the side of the volcano (3 pm tour only). During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park. The tour concludes with a relaxing stop at the mineral hot spring. Lodging in Arenal.

DAY 04 Arenal – Guanacaste
Breakfast at the hotel. Regular transfer to North Pacific. The Northern Pacific Region is full of beauty, varied textures and beaches with colorful sand. This region of the Pacific coast is composed mainly of the province of Guanacaste, and offers many attractions, making this one of the most visited destinations in Costa Rica. This region has its own International Airport, the “Daniel Oduber” Airport, located in the county of Liberia, providing direct access to this enchanted land. This region also offers a great variety of lodging, exciting adventures such as deep water diving, fishing, and gold. DAY 05 Guanacaste – Peñas Blancas – San Juan del Sur
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Peñas Blancas board to continue to beautiful Nicaragua.Greeting at your arrival at the Peñas Blancas Border, departure to San Juan del Sur. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy this beautiful bay.
DAY 06 San Juan del Sur – Granada
We will drive to the City of Granada via the Pan-American Highway, on our way we’ll visit Catarina where you can marvel with the amazing panoramic view of Apoyo lagoon and Granada. We will do a city tour in Granada. You will have the chance to observe the beautiful architecture and learn more about our history and culture at the San Francisco Convent Museum and Casa de los Tres Mundos. Later we will do a boat trip in Granada’s Islets.
Day 07 Granada – Masaya – Managua
After the breakfast we’ll visit to Masaya’s Handicraft Market. Then we’ll going to Masaya Volcano National Park, It’s one of the few places in the world where such an active volcano can be observed up close. We will also visit the Ecological Museum to learn about the volcano geology, history, and ecology. After the Masaya Tour we will depart to Managua.
DAY 08 Managua – airport or bus station
According to your departure time, transfer to airport or bus station. End our services.
